National Geographic Student Expeditions
Summer 2010 Programs
We invite the next generation of explorers to learn about the world firsthand with National Geographic on active summer expeditions designed for high school students. Whether discovering Inca ruins in Peru, hiking along China's Great Wall, or snorkeling the reefs of Australia, students encounter incredible places close up in the company of dynamic trip leaders and a National Geographic expert.
Our student expeditions combine adventure, cultural immersion, and an On Assignment project that focuses on a specific topic such as photography, wildlife and conservation, or filmmaking and enables students to further engage with the places they visit.
In addition to our international expeditions, our National Geographic On Campus programs include hands-on workshops, activities in the field, and outdoor excursions. Students work in teams on an On Assignment project with the guidance of trip leaders and visiting National Geographic experts.
