Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Jay Dickman has covered events as diverse as the war in El Salvador to the Olympics for numerous publications, including National Geographic magazine. A popular instructor and expedition leader, he has lived in a Stone Age village in Papua New Guinea, spent a week under the Arctic ice in a nuclear attack sub, and was on a boat that sank in the Amazon. He has also published five books and numerous articles for National Geographic Traveler, Life, Condé Nast Traveler, Time, and Forbes.
